The United Arab Emirates is investing huge amounts of money in securing its future water and energy supply. For overseas companies in these sectors, the trade fair WETEX is the platform of choice for showcasing their innovations and technologies relating to water, wastewater, energy and the environment. It is taking place at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Center from October 21–23, 2019.

The changes that the automotive industry is currently experiencing were made clear at the Auto Shanghai 2019. Alongside electromobility, the focus of the largest motor show in the world, which ran from April 18-25, 2019, was on connected and autonomous driving. More than 1,000 exhibitors from 20 different countries and regions were in attendance across around 360,000 square meters of floor space. A number of new Chinese brands made their trade fair debut alongside all the well-established manufacturers and suppliers.

The Philippines rank among the ten fastest-growing economies in the world. Especially the construction industry is booming which is at the same time relying largely on imports. PHILCONSTRUCT, the biggest construction trade fair in the country, offers overseas companies an established platform to exhibit their products, make new contacts and build business relationships.

analytica Vietnam 2019, which took place in Ho Chi Minh City from April 3 to 5, provided a twofold cause for celebration: The country's most important industry platform for laboratory technology, analysis, biotechnology and diagnostics, celebrated its tenth anniversary, marking the most successful trade fair event in this series to date. 143 exhibitors from 15 countries occupied around 33 per cent more space than in 2017. The 4,144 trade visitors flocked to the trade fair stands and attendes the comprehensive supporting program to find out about current developments in the industry.

analytica Vietnam 2019 in Ho Chi Minh City will be celebrating not just its tenth anniversary but also its biggest trade fair event yet. Approximately 130 exhibitors from 15 countries will be on show in the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC) from April 3 to 5, 2019. The exhibition area has grown by around one third compared with 2017. analytica Vietnam is the country's foremost industry platform for laboratory technology, analysis, biotechnology and diagnostics.

Currently, Thailand's construction industry is booming. Experts expect this trend to continue for the longer term. As a result, promising market opportunities are opening up for international companies which are involved in planning, constructing and designing of buildings. The trade fair architect expo in Bangkok brings together producers and dealers from the interior work and design industry with architects, contractors and other decision-makers. The established exhibition is the most important event of the industry in the ASEAN region.

Despite a difficult environment, the Iranian trade fair for construction and mining IranConMin can look back on another successful event. The 14th staging of the trade fair for construction machinery and mining, which took place from 2-5 November 2018 at the Tehran Permanent Fairground, drew in about 15.000 visitors and around 200 exhibitors from eight countries. The companies taking part were particularly impressed with the high quality of visitors to the event.

Algeria is investing strongly in the extension and improvement of its transport infrastructure while relying on the support of partners from abroad. The trade fair ALGERIA INFRASTRUCTURE is a business platform to bring together international professionals from the whole transport sector with Algerian decision makers. The next event takes place in Algiers from 28 to 30 January 2019.

About half a year before the start of analytica Vietnam, the trade fair for laboratory technology, analysis, biotechnology and diagnostics in Ho Chi Minh City is in greater demand than ever before. Now, by the end of October, about 60 percent more exhibitors than in the same period of 2016 have registered for the spin-off of analytica in Munich, which will take place from April 03 to 05, 2019, at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC). This throng reflects the increasing importance of Vietnam's growing market for the industry.
