Continued presence in Russia pays off
Only a few weeks left until CTT
The 17th construction machine trade fair CTT will be held this year from May 31st to June 4th at the Crocus Expo Center in Moscow. Despite the current conditions, which are rather difficult in many ways, Russia's leading construction machine trade fair will once again be the divisional meeting place and product show of the region. The international exhibition company IMAG recommends showing your presence and cultivating business contacts in Russia even at this time.
"We advise our customers to stay on the ball in spite of the current difficult conditions. Experts agree that the Russian economy will recover in the future. Once the sanctions are removed and the ruble rises again, the building and construction sector will be one of the first to pick up speed. The demand in Russia is still very high," says Peter Bergleiter, Managing Director of IMAG – Internationaler Messe- und Ausstellungsdienst GmbH. "The companies that have maintained contact with their Russian business partners even in difficult times will then be at an advantage. We are currently witnessing a similar and impressive development in Iran," said Bergleiter.
Many companies also seem to be noticing this, like LASCO Umformtechnik GmbH. "The Russian market is currently the main export market for the sand-lime brick equipment industry sector. In the last 15 years, LASCO has delivered more than 70 production lines to Russia for the production of sand-lime bricks. CTT is a showcase where we at LASCO can present ourselves and our readiness for continued cooperation with our Russian customers", says Rainer Scheler, Managing Director of LASCO Umformtechnik Service Russia.
At CTT 2016, there will be group pavilions from China, Germany, Finland, Italy, and South Korea. For the German joint pavilion, 44 companies have been registered.
